These Accountant Partnership Program Terms ("Partnership Terms") are a supplement to the Expansas Financial Terms of Service and govern your participation in the Expansas Accountant Partnership Program (the "Program"). By enrolling in the Program, you agree to both these Partnership Terms and the general Terms of Service.
To participate in the Program, you must:
We reserve the right to verify your professional credentials and may request documentation.
Earn $5.00 per month for each of your clients who maintains an active paid subscription (Starter, Growth, Professional, or Enterprise tier). Revenue share is paid monthly.
When you have at least one (1) active paying client, your own Expansas account is automatically upgraded to the Starter tier at no cost. This benefit continues as long as you maintain at least one paying client.

Partners may subscribe to the AI Chat add-on at $30/month, which allows you to query financial data across all your client accounts.
Revenue share is earned for clients who:
Revenue share payments are calculated monthly and paid within 30 days of the end of each month. The minimum payout threshold is $25. Amounts below the threshold roll over to the next month.
Payments are made via ACH bank transfer or PayPal to the account you specify in your partner settings. You are responsible for providing accurate payment information.
Revenue share payments are considered taxable income. If you earn $600 or more in a calendar year, we will issue a 1099-NEC form. You are responsible for all applicable taxes on your earnings.
As a partner, you agree to:
Before accessing any client's financial data, you must obtain their explicit consent. Clients can grant or revoke your access at any time through their account settings.
You may only use client data for:
You may NOT use client data for marketing, sell client data, or share it with third parties without explicit consent.
Your professional relationship with your clients is separate from Expansas. We are not a party to your engagement agreements with clients. You remain fully responsible for the quality of your professional services.
You will receive a unique referral link to share with potential clients. Clients who sign up through your link are automatically added to your portfolio.
Referral attribution is based on the referral link used at signup. Attribution is first-touch and permanent - you will continue earning revenue share for that client as long as they remain on a paid plan.
You may not use referral links to sign up your own accounts or accounts you control. Self-referrals will be disqualified and may result in program termination.
You may identify yourself as an "Expansas Partner" or "Expansas Certified Partner" in your marketing materials. You must:
Your participation in the Program begins upon approval of your application and continues until terminated by either party.
You may withdraw from the Program at any time by notifying us at [email protected]. You will receive any earned but unpaid revenue share within 60 days.
We may terminate your participation with 30 days notice, or immediately if you:
Upon termination: you lose access to the partner dashboard, revenue share payments stop for future periods, and your clients remain Expansas customers but are no longer attributed to you. You must cease using Expansas partner branding.
We may modify the Program terms, including revenue share rates, with 60 days advance notice. Material changes will be communicated via email. Your continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
